  27. You clicked on an icon, yes?  You normally get that message when the name
  28. of the icon differs from the name of the directory it represents, or there
  29. is no dir that it represents.  Have you tried doing a "dir" of that dir
  30. or partition?  Or a "list" of it?  Have you got a utility such as DirOpus
  31. or Sid or similar which shows you the files in a dir?

  33. Install is for _floppies_.  I suspect you've wrecked the boot block.  Can
  34. you see that partition with HDtoolbox or RDprep?  Maybe someone more
  35. knowledgeable than me will come up with something.

  37. I wonder what program you were using, to cause the damage.  Look at its
  38. docs to see what it does.
